Privacy Policy

When you book: your name, email address, phone number, the delivery address, the pickup address if you give us a different one, any delivery notes you write, and the dates and package you chose.

When you ask for a commercial quote: your name, company, email, phone, and whatever you tell us about the job.

We do not collect card numbers. Payment happens on Stripe's checkout page, and we receive only a confirmation that it succeeded plus the last few digits Stripe shows us. Stripe keeps your card in their vault so we can charge an extension or a replacement cost later, which means we hold a reference to it, never the number itself.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and measure how quickly pages load. It sets no cookies, records nothing that identifies you, and cannot follow you to other sites.

We also run the Meta pixel, which is an advertising tracker. It tells Meta which pages you viewed here and, if you book, that a booking happened and what it cost. Meta can connect that to your Facebook or Instagram account, and we use it to measure our ads and to show them to people who have visited this site. You can limit this in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings, and browser and device settings that block trackers work on it too.

To deliver and collect your equipment, which is difficult without an address.

To contact you about your booking, including confirmations and anything that changes.

To keep records of what was rented, when, and what was paid, which we need for accounting and tax.

Stripe processes payments and receives your email address and the amount. They also hold your card details for the extensions and replacement costs described in our Terms. Their privacy policy governs what they do with it.

Resend sends our confirmation emails and therefore handles your email address and the contents of those emails.

Railway hosts this site and its database, so your booking data sits on their infrastructure.

Cloudflare provides our domain, the bot check on our forms, and the visit counting described above, and sees the network requests your browser makes to us.

Meta receives the pixel activity described above, which is the pages you viewed and whether you booked. It does not receive your name, address, or phone number.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else except where the law requires it.

Our visit counting sets no cookies at all.

The Meta pixel does set advertising cookies, and that is what lets Meta recognize you across sites. Blocking third party cookies in your browser stops it.

The bot check on our booking and quote forms is Cloudflare Turnstile, which sets a short-lived token to confirm you are not automated.

Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout page, which is a different site from this one.

A session cookie exists only for staff signing in to the admin dashboard. Customers never receive one.

Booking records are kept while they are needed for the rental and afterwards for as long as accounting and tax rules require.

Quote requests that do not become bookings are kept while we are still in touch about them, and cleared out after that.

Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at hello@kytoteco.com or 859-800-3211.

We may have to keep records of completed transactions even after a deletion request, where the law requires it. We will tell you if that applies and what we kept.

You can unsubscribe from anything that is not directly about a booking you have made.

This site is for adults arranging a rental. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

If this policy changes, the updated date at the top changes with it.
